Create a trackable short link and see who clicks it, where your traffic comes from, what devices visitors use, and how your links perform.
Any http or https URL: a product page, a form, a video, a booking page.
You get something like ashrt.link/a1b2c3.
Use it anywhere you would use the original: email, social, ads, a QR code on print.
Every visit records the country, device, browser and referring site, then forwards instantly.
Clicks, unique visitors, countries, devices, browsers and referrers for every link.
Slack, X and Facebook fetch every link you post. Those previews are counted separately, not as visitors.
Add UTM tags without hand-editing URLs, and group links into campaigns to compare them.
Every link has a QR code, and scans land in the same analytics as clicks.
Yes. The Free plan uses a verified account so your links can be kept permanently, managed in one dashboard, and protected against abuse. You may still be able to try a temporary guest link, but it is not a Free-plan account and does not replace verification.
The country, device type, browser, operating system and referring site, taken from the request itself. We do not see who the person is, and we do not store raw IP addresses. Unique visitors are counted using a one-way hash, which is enough to tell a repeat visit from a new one and not enough to identify anyone.
The link is short, but that is a side effect. The point is the redirect: it records the visit before forwarding, which is how you find out whether the post, email or ad you shared actually sent anyone.
No. Post a link in Slack and Slackbot fetches it to build the preview; X, Facebook, Discord, LinkedIn and iMessage all do the same. Those are identified and counted as bot hits, separately from people.
Links created in a verified free account stay until you delete them. Temporary guest links, when available, expire after 30 days unless they are claimed by a verified account.
The allowance is on links you create. Anything you have already published keeps working and stops counting once its month passes — on every plan, including after a downgrade.
